Voluntary service"A hero is someone who brings a smile to another person's face."Markus Befortvolunteer at Corazones 2009/2010
We invite young people from all over the world to spend a year with us doing an internship or fulfilling national service requirements.

Volunteering with us is an adventure of the heart. Our teams work on multifaceted and diverse projects that require a wide variety of skill sets. From an assignment in our children's village, to supporting our microfinance bank or the agriculture center, to joining the teams of doctors in the health centers: as volunteers for Corazones para Perú, young people take on responsibilities, grow as people, and have an unforgettable time, while helping to leave a lasting mark.

Our project generally involves much work with people, especially children. Patience, openness, tolerance, ease with children, Spanish language skills, as well as spur-of-the-moment problem-solving skills are important basic qualifications.

If you would like to apply for a volunteer opportunity with us, or have any questions about our program or project areas, please contact us.

You can also request the "Corazones Volunteer Handbook" here. The handbook contains detailed information about the work and the opportunities in the project and will help you prepare for your "adventure of the heart" in Peru.
